NHS Hampshire is committed to putting patients at the heart of what we do and one way of making sure that we achieve this is by engaging local people.

We involve local people in various ways, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, patient video diaries, written and online surveys, face-to-face interviews, road shows, discussion events and visiting local groups.

With the aim of helping to shape local health and wellbeing, we provide access health information using a variety of means, including leaflets, posters, radio advertising, booklets and websites.

This engagement activity enables us, as commissioners, to gain a detailed insight into the issues that really matter to local people and put this at the heart of our approach in supporting local people to improve their health, make healthy choices and access appropriate services.
