Freedom of information

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 recognises that, as a member of the public, you have the right to know how public services such as the NHS make their operational decisions and how public money is used.  The Act gives anyone a general right to request access to see official information held by public authorities such as NHS Hampshire.

NHS Hampshire fully supports the aim to promote openness in public services and has an established procedure for dealing with requests for information made under the Act which is outlined fully in our “Policy for the management of the Freedom of Information Act 2000”
