Emergency planning
NHS Hampshire works closely with its partner agencies such as local authorities, the police, fire and ambulance services and other local NHS Acute Trusts and Primary Care Trusts to prepare for emergencies and unforeseen events. This multi-agency partnership is known as the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Resilience Forum.
Thankfully disasters are a rare occurrence, but they can strike suddenly, occur anywhere and often have an unexpected cause.
